PEOPLE ARE NOW MONETIZING THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA
Tsū is the newest social media site which mirros sites like Instagram and Twitter with one twist… it pays you!
On Tsū the user creates a profile and operates it much like other social media sites. Users make money in two ways: First from the amount of views they get when they post content and second they make a percentage from the friends they invite onto the site.
Tsū finds advertisers like any other site where they charge the company based on a CPM or “Cost per 1000 views”. Typically they can get $1-3 CPM from major advertisers like American Express, Jaguar or whomever. If the student has 1000 friends and posts that they are at a club, their 1000 friends will see it and Tsū will bring in $2 (for example). The site will take 10% off of the top leaving $1.80. Of the remaining $1.80, the person who posted makes 50% of that or $.90.
The second way they users make money is through inviting their friends. Anytime a friend is invited, the original user makes 1/3 of the remaining money. In the example above, they would make $.60 (1/3 of $1.80). The person who invited him makes 1/3 of 1/3 or $.20 and so on. This continues until the entire $2 has been divided up.
